Library & Learning – Riverside School

Welcome to Our School Library

Every student will be required to visits our school library with his/her class once a week. A typical class visit includes a read-aloud story or a short activity, as well as time to return and check out books. Many children find a new book and immediately sit down on the lovely sofas to begin to read and enjoy the story. The read aloud stories that are read to the children are chosen to introduce, illustrate or depict a particular theme, genre, literary device, curricular topic, or library skill. Our goal is to share the love of reading by introducing wonderful books to students.

Students may drop in and visit the library before school or during recesses to browse for books, play board games, doing homework.
