Overview

Riverside School has been designed to ensure that children in our care will enjoy the very best possible start. We aim to provide to our students the opportunities to develop and succeed whilst enjoying a safe and happy learning environment nurturing a sense of social responsibility and respect. It is our constant aim to bring out the best in our children and to provide a well-rounded experience for every child.

Riverside School welcomes children from all backgrounds. The Primary school caters for children from ECDA to Grade 7, and our Secondary school caters for children from form 1 to upper six.

Whilst the academic year begins in January, students can join Riverside at any time of the year. In order to reserve a place for your child, you will need to complete the application form and upon receipt of the small non-refundable registration fee an offer is made by the school in writing.

Our programmes and activities encourage students to discover their interests and strengths. All of this is done in a safe, caring and supportive school environment that fosters positive attitudes and without the fear of being judged

Riverside is going to be staffed by a dedicated, hardworking and professional body of teachers headed by Mr Sevias Mujere. Our parents will be also actively involved in the school and feel very much part of what goes on. We expect our students to be polite, enthusiastic, well mannered, independent and keen to learn. But most important of all, we have created a friendly happy environment for children to learn. Riverside will be a happy and fun place to be. We have a holistic approach to learning where an equal emphasis and weighting is placed on academics, music, sports, the arts, outdoor pursuits and drama. Our students will learn to be knowledgeable, open-minded thinkers, inquirers, principled, risk-takers, well-balanced, and caring.
